SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME is one of the 25 Most Performed Songs of All Time and was inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame As A Recording Of Lasting, Qualitative And Historical Significance; It was also nominated for Grammy Song Of The Year in 1960 and ranked 182 on Rolling Stones Songs of All Time. In 1992, Mort was elected into The Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. In March 2010 Mort was inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in New York.
